The terms for our repairs and for this website.

Who we are

I Repair Heating and Air, Inc., doing business as Dash Services Appliance Repair ("Dash Appliance Service", "we", "us"), repairs household appliances in homes across Salt Lake County, Utah. Call us at (801) 751-4084.

The trip fee

$99 trip fee, credited toward the repair when the repair is completed. Each extra appliance we diagnose on the same visit is $20, also credited toward the repair when the repair is completed.

A full diagnostic of one appliance, and a clear, flat-rate quote before any work begins.

If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you pay only for the diagnosis. That’s the $99 trip fee for the visit and the first appliance, plus $20 for each extra one.

The $99 trip fee is per visit, and it includes the diagnostic for one appliance. Each extra appliance we diagnose on the same visit is $20.

Quotes and approval

The technician finds the problem and gives you a flat-rate quote. You accept it or decline it. No work starts until you say yes.

Our technician may decline or stop work if conditions at the appliance aren't safe.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is done.

Warranty

Except for any warranty we give you in writing, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties about our work or the parts we install, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. A part may also carry its maker's own warranty.

Canceling or changing an appointment

To cancel or change an appointment, call us at (801) 751-4084 as early as you can.

Using this website

The information on this site is general. The safe checks on our appliance pages are optional, and you do them at your own risk. If anything sparks or smells like burning, stop and switch off its breaker. If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas company or 911 from outside. Prices and details can change.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as food that spoils while an appliance is out of service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If this site is misused

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, for any claim that results from your misuse of this website or from false information you give us.

Governing law

Utah law governs these terms. Any dispute about them, or about our work, goes to the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah.

The whole agreement

These terms, together with your written quote and invoice, are the whole agreement between you and us about a repair. If your quote or invoice says something different, the quote or invoice applies.

If a court decides any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
